This might be a perplexing statement since very few people can predict when nightmares might come. Mine are easy. Am I sleeping? If the answer is yes, then I will have a nightmare. If the answer is no, then I might still have one but it's going to be a very interesting ordeal.
With this in mind, there have been some trying things happening of late and last night I could just feel the chaos, gore, and macabre happenings that were going to run through my brain all night. How do I know this? The dreams have been getting steadily worse all week and there was some pretty terrible news yesterday.
And what did I do, you may be asking yourself? I stayed up until 5 so that when I fell asleep it would be of exhaustion and not just the need to recharge. Did it help? A little. Plus I had a little wolf who slept next to me and kept me warm all night, huddled close. Then 2.5 hours later, I had to crawl out of bed and suspend his arm and maybe, just possibly, offend my little wolf's feelings by saying how difficult it was to leave that warm cavity between his paws. Course I don't think in my stupor that I actually explained that as the reason.
I think I like that reference for him. My little wolf. It should suit.
Anyway, off to actually do some work I suppose. I'm too tired to really do anything though. Maybe I'll start after lunch.
